Samantha graduated from James Cook University Townsville in 2002 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

On graduation Samantha worked at Cairns Base Hospital gaining experience with varied specialities as burns, hand therapy, stroke, TBI, spinal injury and general acute care. This role also included providing Occupational Therapy to Aboriginal Communities of Yarrabah and Thursday Island.

Later moving to Sydney, Samantha has worked within across Sydney Local Health District Hospitals for over 14 years. Samantha has held Senior Roles in Orthopaedic and Hand Therapy as well as Aged Care and Rehabilitation.

This extensive experience has allowed her to gain expertise in the ADL assessment, home assessment, home modifications, ADL retraining, equipment prescription, case management and health promotion / functional education.

Samantha has worked in a teaching role for University of Sydney Masters Occupational Therapy Program, teaching Biomechanical and Sensorimotor Strategies subjects and guest lecturing in hand therapy and splinting.

Samantha is passionate about professional development and providing best patient care. She has presented at Occupational Therapy Forums and Conferences on innovations of care in Occupational Therapy.

Samantha is able to service the Illawarra and Southern Sydney areas of NSW.
