Sofie qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Western Sydney in 2000 and has since demonstrated her commitment to best practice through attending courses including medico-legal assessments, functional capacity evaluations, counselling and workplace assessments.

Sofie has worked extensively in the field of occupational rehabilitation, developing expertise in assessment, case management and functional education services under the NSW WorkCover, CTP, income protection, Comcare and Australian Government schemes. Sofie has also worked in acute and rehabilitation settings, with a focus on ADL retraining, home assessments, minor modifications and discharge planning.

Sofie has worked for over 10 years as a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant with CRS Australia based in Dubbo, where she provided mentoring and management of staff within her region. Sofie is passionate about providing high quality and effective programs for her clients, using outcome measures and designing goal oriented strategies which are reviewed regularly.

Throughout her career, Sofie has worked with a broad range of diagnostic groups (from musculoskeletal injuries to severe disabilities) which has helped to develop her skills in assessing function and understanding recovery, prognosis and treatment options.

Sofie understands the challenges of providing rehabilitation services in a regional area and is familiar with equipment suppliers, treatment and services in the Dubbo region. For Moore Rehab Outcomes, Sofie is able to provide Ergonomic Consultancy, Case Management and ADL programs in Central and Western NSW.
