With over ten years experience in Occupational Therapy, Rebecca worked in the area of neurology and cognitive rehabilitation. Her clinical experience spans across inpatient and community settings both nationally and internationally.

For five years Rebecca worked in acute neurology, inpatient neurology rehabilitation, and home-based neurology rehabilitation in Victoria. Her passion is for community, cognitive and neurological rehabilitation and she has a strong commitment to maximising community participation through client centred practice and goal attainment.

Whilst working with the NHS in London, she had a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of an innovative stroke early discharge and home rehabilitation service. The success of this project was recognised by a care integration award.

Rebecca was also the inaugural stroke navigator in Camden where her skills with complex discharge planning, adjustment to disability, assessment of need and care coordination enabled her to maximise community participation and self-management for her clients.

This successful implementation of an innovative assessment service was acknowledged by publication in the Clinical Medicine Journal.
