Rachel graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 with a BAppSc (OT) and MHlthSC(OT) in 2012 extending her interests with techniques in health coaching, goal setting, psychosocial aspects of care and counselling skills.

Rachel has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 13 years, first in Sydney then Nowra, gaining a broad range of experience in acute, rehabilitation and community occupational therapy settings. She has developed sound networks and local knowledge in the Shoalhaven with more than 10 years local experience.

Rachel has experience with brain injury, aged care, musculoskeletal and degenerative conditions and expertise in working with complex rehabilitation clients. She has experience in ADL assessments and retraining, equipment prescription, home modifications, upgraded activity plans, cognitive skills retraining, behavioural management programmes and developing care and support plans. Rachel is an accredited FIM assessor.

Rachel has been working with the local brain injury rehab service as an Occupational Therapist then Rehabilitation Co-ordinator for the past 8 years. Her role involves co-ordinating programs and providing therapy for clients with traumatic or acquired brain injuries in the age range of 16-65 years.

She enjoys the challenge of assessing clients with complex needs, providing recommendations to maximise their independence and assisting their recovery post injury.

At Moore Rehab Outcomes, Rachel is able to provide ADL assessments and retraining, minor home modifications, equipment prescription, co-ordination of rehabilitation programs and care programs, case management and return to work services in the Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and South Coast.

Rachel is based in Nowra.
